Full Job Description
Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a VP, Solutions Management - Pharmaceutical.
Taylor Corporation is establishing a dedicated division focused on warehouse operations, fulfillment, and pharmacy healthcare solutions to serve Fortune 100 clients with mission-critical logistics, mail-order pharmacy support, and integrated Healthcare fulfillment capabilities. This division is the operational backbone behind several of Taylor's most strategic healthcare logistics opportunities, including initiatives addressing the nation's largest PBM's, healthcare, and Pharmaceutical clients.
Reporting directly to the President of the division, the VP, Warehouse, Fulfillment & Pharmacy Healthcare Solutions will be a senior leader responsible for translating client strategy into operational execution. The role spans solution design, account leadership, and cross-functional program delivery, bridging Taylor's production assets, the Taylor ecosystem, and external pharmacy and PBM partners and clients.
This is a builder's role. The successful candidate will help scale a new business operations and culture unit from an established but expanding base, bringing the discipline of large-scale print and fulfillment operations together with the technology fluency required to serve healthcare clients with increasingly complex data, regulatory, and timing requirements.
Work Authorization:
To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Solution Design
• Partner with the President to define and execute the division's go-to-market strategy across warehouse, fulfillment, and pharmacy healthcare solutions.
• Translate client business problems - particularly in mail-order pharmacy and direct-to-patient logistics - into integrated Taylor solutions, including operational design, pricing models, and SLA frameworks.
• Lead solution architecture for Fortune 100 healthcare engagements, working alongside the President on strategic pursuits such as PBM resend/reshipment optimization, dispatch-timing redesign, and cold chain initiatives.
• Maintain a working point of view on PBM dynamics, formulary trends, and the operational implications for fulfillment and pharmacy partners.
Account & Client Leadership
• Serve as a senior client-facing leader for assigned strategic accounts, with primary responsibility for retention, expansion, and operational satisfaction.
• Build trusted relationships at director, VP, and SVP and C-suite levels within client organizations - including procurement, supply chain, pharmacy operations, and member experience teams.
• Lead quarterly business reviews, executive escalations, and renewal/expansion conversations in partnership with the President.
• Identify and qualify new pharmacy healthcare and fulfillment opportunities through Taylor's existing client base and the alliance pipeline.
Operational Execution
• Own end-to-end program delivery for assigned accounts: onboarding, implementation, steady-state operations, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate across Taylor production teams when needed for warehouse and fulfillment sites, IT, and print operations, to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery.
• Oversee KPIs across fulfillment accuracy, on-time dispatch, resend/reshipment rates, cold chain integrity, and patient/member-facing communication quality.
• Drive root-cause analysis and operational redesign of recurring failure modes-for example, the Thursday-dispatch-timing dynamics that drive a meaningful share of mail-order pharmacy resend volume.
Technology & Process Integration
• Apply technology and data fluency to integrate fulfillment, print, and pharmacy workflows - leveraging background in marketing technology, interactive print services to bring digital capabilities to traditionally analog operations fo the Healthcare sector.
• Partner with Taylor IT and client systems teams on data exchange, file specifications, data hygiene, and reporting infrastructure.
• Champion automation and continuous improvement, drawing on early R&D experience in digital equipment and process automation to identify high-leverage opportunities within the division.
Team Leadership & Culture
• Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team of program managers, operations leads, and client-facing professionals as the division scales.
• Model the alliance-based, low-overhead operating philosophy that distinguishes the Taylor model from traditional Taylor models.
• Partner with HR and the President on hiring plans, capability development, and succession as the division grows.
Financial & Commercial Accountability
• Own a defined revenue and margin target for assigned accounts and pursuits, with full P&L visibility, partnered with the President.
• Lead pricing strategy, contract structure, and commercial terms for new pharmacy healthcare and fulfillment programs in coordination with Taylor finance and legal.
• Maintain rigorous forecasting discipline and pipeline hygiene at the account and pursuit level.
You Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.); equivalent experience considered.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in commercial print, fulfillment, marketing services, or related industries - including senior leadership and director-level roles.
• Demonstrated success leading national accounts and Fortune-class client relationships, with measurable ownership of revenue, retention, and expansion outcomes.
• Direct experience integrating print, technology, and marketing solutions for sophisticated B2B clients (e.g., Printstack-style or interactive print platforms).
• Track record across multiple production environments - including formal leadership development programs in commercial print (e.g., Consolidated Graphics LDP) and senior roles at peer print and marketing services organizations.
• Prior tenure at Taylor Corporation strongly preferred, with established familiarity with Taylor's operating model, production network, and culture.
We Would Also Prefer:
• Exposure to healthcare, PBM, or pharmacy logistics workflows - including mail-order, specialty pharmacy, or patient communications.
• Experience working alongside or within alliance/partnership models (such as the Taylor-Caracal structure) rather than traditional commissioned sales.
• Background in digital print equipment, automation, or process R&D - bringing a builder's mindset to operational improvement.
• Familiarity with cold chain packaging, sustainable materials, and regulated direct-mail workflows.
Skills and Attributes:
• Strategic and trustworthy operator capable of representing Taylor at the highest levels of Fortune 100 client organizations.
• Strong solution-design instincts: able to take an ambiguous client problem and shape it into an executable, profitable program.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership; comfortable operating across production, IT, sales, and partner organizations without formal authority.
• High comfort with data, technology, and modern marketing/communications tooling.
• Bias toward execution, with the operational discipline to deliver on commitments made to senior client stakeholders.
• Authentic alignment with Taylor's values, alliance-based operating philosophy, and long-term client orientation.
