Job Description

Reporting to the Senior VP, the Regional Vice President, Growth (sales) is responsible for managing a field sales team to achieve targets for the overall recruitment of providers into Privia Medical Group (PMG). The Regional Vice President of Growth has demonstrated experience closing complex business deals as an individual contributor and with managing a team to consistently meet and exceed goals.

Primary Job Duties:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the field sales team including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and assessing overall health of the business
  • Assist the field sales team by joining advanced-stage sales meetings and help close business
  • Manage the on-boarding and development of new sales team members in CA, WA & AZ.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including Legal, Finance, Population Health, Network Development, and Revenue Cycle Management, Marketing
  • Work with the Marketing team to align messaging throughout sales process
  • Develop necessary trainings for the field sales teams on relevant topics (like MACRA or ACOs)
  • Work closely with the Growth Operations and Strategy Team to coordinate and meet needs of the field sales team
  • Support prospective physician visits to headquarters
  • Attend and contribute to prospect events
  • 80%+ local and/or regional travel required


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of healthcare sales experience; experience directly managing a field sales team required
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a field sales team to hit their sales goals
  • Experience developing and managing sales processes
  • Experience managing the utilization of a CRM, preferably Salesforce, to segment markets, track activities, and manage sales pipelines
  • Experience developing and leading skills training and development activities
  • Experience juggling multiple and competing priorities

The salary range for this role is $145,000.00-$150,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan with an additional target of $145,000.00-$150,000.00 and above & restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
