Vice President of Plant Operations develops and administers programs for the physical appearance, maintenance, and overall operation of buildings, grounds, and equipment across our twenty-eight (28) New England facilities.

Responsibilities for Vice President of Plant Operations:- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of plant operations, maintenance, construction, and capital improvement initiatives across multiple facilities.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee three (3) Regional Directors of Plant Operations and facility Maintenance Directors.
- Plan and oversee capital projects, major repairs, renovations, and new construction projects.
- Serve as the primary liaison for construction projects, contractors, vendors, and other external partners.
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for the efficient operation and maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and physical plant systems.
- Ensure facilities comply with applicable federal and state nursing home and assisted living regulations, Life Safety Code requirements, Joint Commission standards, OSHA standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs and schedules to keep facilities and equipment safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Establish priorities for repair and maintenance work to minimize disruption to facility operations and provide efficient, cost-effective services.
- Ensure the appropriate and consistent use of facility work order systems.
- Monitor resource utilization, maintenance costs, capital expenditures, and departmental performance to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Partner with facility and corporate leadership to address plant operations concerns and support organizational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for Vice President of Plant Operations:- Minimum of five (5) years of Plant Operations experience within Skilled Nursing Facilities required.
- Healthcare experience required.
- Multi-facility and regional leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Experience overseeing facility maintenance, capital projects, renovations, construction, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare facility regulations, Life Safety Code requirements, Joint Commission standards, and OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and support regional and facility-level maintenance teams.
- Strong project management, organizational, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with executive leadership, facility teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to travel throughout the New England region as needed.
