General Summary / Basic Purpose of Job

The Vice President of Finance will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and direction to Sinai Health System. The Vice President of Finance will oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

As a key member of the senior management team, the Vice President of Finance will play a critical role in developing and executing the organization's financial strategy, supporting operational performance, and ensuring financial sustainability.

Reporting Relationships

Reports To:
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Provides Supervision To:
Finance and financial operations staff, as assigned.

Level of Care Delivered

The position supports financial operations across the healthcare system and its applicable levels of patient care and clinical services.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.

Minimum Work Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a healthcare financial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
