Title of Job: Vice President of Finance

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
Summary of Position: The Vice President of Finance will lead the financial strategy, planning, and reporting functions for all Ameribrands, LLC companies, providing executive-level oversight of the Controller and the Accounting organization. The position translates financial data into strategic guidance for the CFO and executive leadership, oversees capital structure, banking, and lender relationships, and ensures the organization's financial planning, controls, and reporting infrastructure scale with the business. The VP of Finance serves as the primary financial liaison to executive leadership, ownership, and external financial partners, and will assist the Chief Financial Officer where needed in other roles/functions for any of our brand companies.
Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions: - Provide executive oversight of the Controller and Accounting function; ensure balanced workloads, efficient processes, and appropriate staffing across the accounting organization
- Partner with the CFO to develop annual budgets, multi-year financial plans, and rolling forecasts for all Ameribrands, LLC companies
- Work with Director and Mergers and Acquisitions to provide reporting including scenario modeling, capital planning, and profitability analysis by brand/entity
- Manage cash flows and treasury function, including cash forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity planning across entities
- Build and manage banking, lender, and capital-provider relationships
- Ensure compliance with loan covenants and reporting; lead covenant compliance strategy and serve as primary point of contact for lenders on financial matters
- Support capital structure decisions, financing transactions, and, as applicable, M&A due diligence and integration
- Assist with implementing new strategies and process improvements, and lead cross-functional initiatives that improve financial infrastructure, systems, and controls
- Adhere to and ensure organization-wide adherence to GAAP and proper accounting standards/policies
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial packages, board/ownership reporting materials, and ad hoc analyses for executive decision-making
- Interact and follow-up with senior operations and project leadership regarding job contract values, estimates, and job financials
- Research and resolve complex job costing, revenue recognition, and margin issues; establish job costing policy and standards
- Provide oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions through the Controller
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements across all brand entities; review and approve statements prepared by the Controller
- Prepare Review Job P&L statements prepared by the Controller/Accounting team and translate results into strategic guidance for Project Teams and executive leadership
- Perform executive-level review of monthly and quarterly variance analysis of expenses and financial performance against budget/forecast
- As needed will Maintain General Ledger schedules and reconcile balance sheet accounts; Prepare and enter journal entries; Prepare financial statements and support schedules; Prepare Job P&L statements and review with Project Teams; Bank reconciliations
- Perform monthly variance analysis of expenses
- Participate in, perform, and or lead ad-hoc projects as needed
- Oversee commission calculation methodology and review for accuracy at the policy level
- Assist as primary executive liaison to external auditors, tax preparers, and lenders; oversee audit strategy and resolution of significant findings
- Improve efficiency of month end close processes to ensure monthly timelines are met for reporting
- Ensure proper sales tax, income tax, and other regulatory compliance across all entities
- Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the CFO, ownership, and/or Board as required
- Develop, mentor, and build the finance and accounting organization, including succession planning for key roles
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned

- Experience managing lender, bank, and/or capital-provider relationships, including covenant negotiation
- Strategic and forward-looking financial acumen; ability to translate financial data into business strategy for executive leadership
Minimum Qualifications: • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred • 5• 15 years of related work history, including prior experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role (e.g., Controller or above), preferably in a construction, manufacturing, and/or job costing environment • Proficient in Office; strong Excel skills required • 18 years of age or older • Must be able to pass a drug test • Must be able to pass a background check • Prior experience overseeing or mentoring accounting/finance staff (e.g., a Controller or similar role) strongly preferred Physical Demands: These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
