POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Enterprise Growth & Strategic Partnerships is responsible for shaping the future growth of VITAS by identifying, evaluating, developing, and scaling the organization's next generation of strategic growth opportunities. This executive partners with the Executive Leadership Team to advance enterprise growth strategy, expand strategic partnerships, evaluate emerging care models, and position VITAS for long-term success in an evolving healthcare landscape.
The Vice President serves as the executive leader responsible for the Enterprise Growth Portfolio, transforming strategic opportunities into scalable business initiatives while collaborating across Operations, Market Development, Clinical, Finance, Marketing, Government Affairs, and other corporate functions to ensure successful implementation and sustainable growth.
The Vice President identifies, develops, and scales the next generation of growth opportunities that position VITAS for long-term success by advancing strategic partnerships, innovative care models, and enterprise growth platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Growth Portfolio Leadership
The Vice President provides executive leadership for VITAS' Enterprise Growth Portfolio by identifying, evaluating, prioritizing, and advancing strategic growth opportunities that strengthen the organization's long-term position and expand access to care.
This role is responsible for assessing emerging healthcare trends, evaluating adjacent business opportunities, developing enterprise growth strategies, and transforming innovative concepts into scalable business platforms. The Vice President provides strategic leadership for assigned enterprise partnerships, growth platforms, and business initiatives while partnering with operational andmarket development leadersto ensure successful implementation, adoption, and long-term sustainability.

The Enterprise Growth Portfolio will continue to evolve based on organizational priorities and may expand to include additional growth platforms, strategic partnerships, business ventures, and enterprise initiatives as assigned.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Enterprise Growth Strategy
Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to define and advance VITAS' long-term enterprise growth strategy.
Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging growth opportunities aligned with the organization's mission and strategic objectives.
Monitor healthcare trends, reimbursement models, regulatory changes, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to inform enterprise strategy.
Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and implementation plans for new growth initiatives.
Recommend organizational priorities, investments, and resource allocation to support sustainable long-term growth.
Strategic Partnerships
Lead the development, expansion, and executive oversight of enterprise strategic partnerships.
Identify, cultivate, negotiate, and strengthen relationships with health systems, physician organizations, accountable care organizations, managed care organizations, primary care organizations, payers, and other strategic partners.
Establish governance structures, executive business reviews, performance metrics, and long-term partnership strategies.
Collaborate with Area Vice Presidents, Operations, and executive leadership to successfully deploy enterprise partnerships throughout the organization.
Enterprise Growth Portfolio
Evaluate emerging care models, service lines, business opportunities, and strategic investments that align with VITAS' long-term vision.
Lead feasibility assessments, financial analysis, business planning, and pilot development for new enterprise growth opportunities.
Develop scalable strategies that expand organizational capabilities and improve access to care.
Recommend future growth platforms and enterprise initiatives based on organizational capabilities, market demand, and strategic priorities.
Enterprise Growth Execution
Lead enterprise growth initiatives from concept through implementation and scale.
Establish governance, milestones, performance metrics, executive reporting, and accountability for assigned initiatives.
Partner with Area Vice Presidents, Operations leadership, and corporate departments to operationalize enterprise strategies.
Evaluate organizational outcomes and continuously refine enterprise initiatives to maximize growth, adoption, and scalability.
Executive Leadership
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Executive Leadership Team regarding enterprise growth strategy, healthcare trends, and market evolution.
Present strategic recommendations, business cases, partnership opportunities, and market intelligence to executive leadership.
Represent VITAS with executive customers, strategic partners, healthcare organizations, and industry associations.
Influence enterprise priorities through strategic insight, innovation, and market expertise.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Market Development, Operations, Clinical Leadership, Finance, Marketing, Government Affairs, Legal, Information Technology, and other corporate departments to execute enterprise priorities.
Foster collaboration between corporate strategy and field execution to ensure successful deployment of enterprise initiatives.
Support Area Vice Presidents and Regional Directors in translating enterprise strategies into measurable market growth.
Promote innovation, organizational learning, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Experience
Required:
Minimum 10 years of progressive healthcare, business development or sales leadership experience.
Demonstrated success leading multi-market growth strategies and developing senior leaders.
Proven ability to build executive-level relationships with complex healthcare organizations.
Experience leading organizational change, enterprise initiatives, and cross-functional teams.
Executive leadership and organizational influence.
Strategic planning and business development expertise.
Executive relationship management.
Leadership coaching and talent development.
Enterprise thinking with strong operational understanding.
Financial and business acumen.

Knowledge of hospice, healthcare reimbursement, value-based care, and evolving healthcare delivery models.
Preferred:
Hospice, post-acute care, or healthcare services experience preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
Master's degree preferred.
Certification & Licensure:
