Position PurposeThe VP of Business Technology & Transformation connects technology to business results. Success is judged by whether the business improves, not by the number of tools launched.
As Lehman grows, technology, data and automation play a larger role in how the company serves customers, manages inventory, runs fabrication and makes decisions. This role brings discipline to how Lehman selects, builds and manages technology projects, and measures whether those investments pay off.
Enterprise operating model: The VP works directly with every functional leader but does not work for any of them. Functional leaders own the business result; the VP owns technology strategy, project management, solution development, implementation and measurement. Where work touches the Eclipse ERP, the VP partners with the Eclipse owner.

- Present technology strategy, investment requirements and expected business impact to the CEO and Board.

- Maintain a project register of all active technology work, each with a named owner, priority, scope and expected business value.
- Recommend build, buy or consolidate decisions based on total cost of ownership and business fit, building internally where Lehman can achieve a better-fit solution at lower cost.
Applications, Vendors & Cost Management- Own the inventory of third-party applications and vendors, including cost, utilization, ownership and redundancy.
- Identify consolidation and elimination candidates and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Reduce reliance on outside consulting and legacy subscriptions such as Phocas where internal solutions deliver better value.
Solution Delivery & Adoption- Lead development and rollout of internal platforms, including CRM/project tracking, stock-listing automation and executive dashboards.
