This leader will drive Jack Morton's net-new business strategy while partnering closely with executive leadership, client services, strategy, creative, marketing, and production teams to identify, pursue, and secure growth opportunities across key verticals, channels, and markets. You'll work closely with the Head of Growth to build a high-performing growth engine that accelerates pipeline development, strengthens market positioning, expands strategic partnerships, and drives profitable revenue growth.

This role requires an entrepreneurial leader with deep expertise in experiential marketing, enterprise sales, integrated marketing solutions, and consultative client engagement. The ideal candidate possesses a strong industry network, executive presence, and a proven ability to convert complex opportunities into long-term client partnerships. You'll play an important role in the agency's go-to-market strategy, identify emerging market trends, elevate the agency's competitive differentiation, and ensure sustained growth across existing and emerging lines of business. Success metrics include net-new revenue growth, pipeline growth and conversion, account acquisition, market expansion, revenue profitability, forecast accuracy, strategic partnership development, client retention and expansion, team development, adoption of standardized processes, cross-functional alignment, and operational scalability.

What you'll be doing

Growth Leadership

Lead the agency's growth strategy across target industries, markets, and service offerings, developing scalable commercial strategies that drive profitable net-new revenue. Partner with the Head of Growth to define annual revenue targets, growth priorities, and market expansion plans, and support the continued evolution of the New Business organization - including team structure, role clarity, performance expectations, and growth operations.

Identify emerging opportunities, industry trends, and whitespace areas to expand market relevance. Foster a high-performing growth culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and commercial acumen. Mentor New Business leaders and cross-functional pursuit teams to elevate enterprise selling capabilities and executive-level engagement.

New Business Development

Own the agency's net-new business pipeline - from opportunity sourcing and qualification through pursuit strategy and close. Lead strategic enterprise-level pursuits, build senior relationships with prospective clients and marketing leaders, and guide pursuit teams in developing differentiated solutions, commercial models, and compelling client narratives.

Commercial Strategy & Revenue Operations

Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, opportunity reporting, and revenue tracking. Establish KPIs tied to pipeline health, conversion rates, revenue growth, and profitability. Drive consistency in CRM usage, forecasting methodologies, and pursuit governance. Partner with Finance and Operations to align growth strategies with margin expectations.

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Integration

Support agency integration initiatives by aligning processes, reporting structures, and commercial best practices across teams, regions, and legacy organizations. Drive collaboration across Growth, Client Services, Marketing, Strategy, Creative, Production, and Operations. Champion emerging technologies, AI-enabled workflows, and data-informed decision-making to improve growth performance. Serve as a thought partner to leadership on market trends, competitive positioning, and future growth investments.

Market Positioning & Agency Visibility

Elevate Jack Morton's visibility and reputation within the experiential marketing industry. Partner with Marketing on thought leadership, demand generation, and brand awareness initiatives. Represent the agency at industry events and speaking engagements. Cultivate strategic partnerships that expand capabilities, market access, and commercial opportunities.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Collaborate with Strategy, Creative, Client Services, Production, and Marketing leadership to align growth initiatives with agency capabilities. Mentor and develop growth and account leadership teams to strengthen commercial acumen. Identify talent gaps and development opportunities across the Growth organization.

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might help if...
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in experiential marketing, integrated marketing, or agency environments
  • Proven success leading business development and revenue growth initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to secure and grow complex, multi-million-dollar client relationships
  • Deep understanding of experiential marketing, events, and integrated campaign ecosystems
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional pursuit teams in fast-paced agency environments
  • Strong strategic, analytical, operational, and financial acumen
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, pipeline governance, and data-driven commercial operations
  • Existing industry relationships and strong professional network
  • Experience with organizational transformation or commercial operations modernization - preferred
  • Familiarity with AI tools, automation, and emerging growth technologies - preferred
  • Strategically and commercially driven - entrepreneurial, collaborative, and data-informed. Executive-level relationship builder with strong communication skills and a systems-thinking approach.
