Job Description

As our Marketplace UX Sub-Domain Lead, you will create, shape, and own the digital vision and roadmap for Property and Casualty, Financial Lines, and Cyber products on Marketplace. You will be responsible for the prioritization of agent experience and business value feature requests to elegantly deliver Chubb's product and coverage solutions. With us, you will align our evolving business priorities to platform functionality, managing stakeholder expectations, leading successful squad feature delivery, as well as aligning the sub-domain to the Chubb Small Business digital vision.

In this role:
  • Lead P&C, Financial Lines, and Cyber product owners to establish quarterly OKRs and successfully plan, estimate, and deliver work as committed for the sub-domain. Identify associated dependencies and risks and work with counterparts to ensure that they are addressed to ensure on-time delivery
  • Inspire the sub-domain to continuously identify and craft new and sophisticated ways of acquiring new business to drive growth for the organization
  • Ensure that the sub-domain's work aligns to Chubb Small Business's best practices for UI/UX design, functional documentation, technical feasibility reviews, test plan creation as well as approved by legal and stakeholders prior to the state of development
  • Consistently incorporate agent feedback (from sales, help desk, FullStory) into platform enhancements
  • Partner with other sub-domains and domains to build capabilities and tools that improve the seamless digital customer experience to deliver Chubb's breadth of tailored product solutions to the agents
  • Work within the annual sub-domain budget for staffing and expenses as set by the domain lead. Ensure that resources are fully utilized across the sub-domain
  • Ensure that the sub-domain roadmap is well-communicated to the organization - including delivery timelines and business value
  • Investigate and stay current on competitor trends within the insurance industry
  • Advocate for the agent and leverage CX journey mapping processes throughout the sub-domain


Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in Platform Management, Project Management and/or P&C Product Development
  • Sub-Domain Expertise: sufficient subject matter, enterprise, technical, commercial enterprise to gain credibility across functions, business units and lead effectively within sub-domain
  • Ability to identify opportunities, generate business case and rationale for objectives
  • Track record of embracing change and successfully leading teams during times of significant change
  • Record of success in leading, coaching and developing people. The candidate must be able to establish an environment that leverages diverse perspectives and engages all members of the team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate information and interact positively with a diverse group of people across many levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions, concentrating on high priority issues as needed and in a timely manner
  • Combine both deep business and product knowledge leadership and influencing skills to persuade stakeholders and team towards a vision
  • Adaptable, flexible, and decisive - ability to adjust to changing priorities and demands
  • Effective negotiator and influencer to persuade stakeholders with a fact base and customer feedback
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree required

The pay range for the role is $175,000 to $225,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant's skills and other factors.
