Job Description

We are seeking a Vice President (Senior Manager) to join the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG), the largest real estate private equity fund administrator by funds administered. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:

  • Fund accounting management oversight of a growing team


  • Responsible for all accounting processes relating to the preparation of financial statements, footnotes and supporting work papers


  • Preparation of fund's cash distribution waterfall calculations as part of the disposition process


  • Manage capital call/distribution procedures for investors and coordinated capital management for fund


  • Review of fund partnership agreements in connection with the initial fund set-up


  • Review of monthly segment and business unit analytics and quarterly fund reserve analyses


  • Direct annual audits and tax return preparation process with accounting firms


  • Coordinate performance reporting with senior management in connection with requests for proposals and requests for information


  • Participate in the review and approval of client's business plans, including proposed investments and sales


  • Review current and proposed accounting pronouncements to determine appropriate portfolio treatment


  • Assist account and portfolio managers on all financial aspects of investments including acquisitions and due diligence, dispositions and sales, development and expansions and investment financing arrangements


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field


  • 12+ years of private equity fund accounting experience


Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  • CPA or parts passed towards completion


  • Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field


  • Experience using Yardi and/or MRI
