VP Enterprise Infrastructure. The VP, Enterprise Infrastructure is responsible for the vision, strategy, direction, and leadership in the development and implementation of all information technology infrastructure and systems projects and initiatives. Strong understanding of how technology and business are intertwined and aligned within an organization with a strong business focus and track record driving business results through technology enablement. Forward thinking while also delivering on the day-to-day technology needs of the organization. Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization from the employee all the way up to our Board members. This position is critical in helping to drive overall process and technology efficiency and standardization within GTE Financial.
What does GTE look for in a VP Enterprise Infrastructure?Leadership:- Coach, train, and manage assigned staff, ensuring adherence to Credit Union and departmental standards. - Responsible for setting and meeting department goals and performance metrics in alignment with executive management.
- Responsible for meeting the needs of staffing, including hiring, retention, dismissals, coaching, performance evaluations, and scheduling.
- Provide a work environment that promotes positive energy, creativity and teamwork among all employees.
Production:- Provide 7X24 production support for all infrastructure components while managing to a 99.9% uptime.
- Manage overall strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of information technology processes, systems and resources.
- Prioritizing multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced and ever-changing business environment.
- Responsible for development and management of department budgets.
- Define and implement infrastructure strategy and standards for the enterprise.
- Establish performance goals/indicators for each area within TS and direct report.
Strategic:- Collaborate in planning, design, development, testing and implementing new technology or enhancements to existing technology.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining required organizational policies, procedure and standards that adhere to SOX compliance.
- Understanding of P&L and the capital budgeting process while driving towards improving efficiency in ongoing IT costs and annual spend.
- Overseeing and managing the day-to-day TS department operations, systems and infrastructure.
- Aligning the IT strategic vision with the company while ensuring that IT investments and spend are aligned to business goals
- Develops and maintains relationships with industry peers, groups and organizations to keep abreast of regulatory, business and technology changes and industry trends to ensure compliance and timely implementation of new and best practices and technology.
- Managing and overseeing all IT vendor relationships and partnerships
- Serving as a business partner and liaison to internal business units.
- Developing and implementing both short-term and long-term IT business goals and initiatives that align and fit the current and future organizational business strategy.
- Maintain, implement, and lead business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions for all enterprise infrastructure systems.
- Strong technical understanding of all enterprise infrastructure components including networks and security.
- Ability to identify business challenges and opportunities and translate into workable programs.
- Superior analytical skills to determine areas in need of improvement and the ability to find creative solutions that will improve efficiency and productivity within the internal operations function.
Operational:- Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
Required Qualifications:- Undergraduate degree in Business Management/related field, Master's Degree preferred.
- Min 10 years' experience with at least 5 years of progressive management experience or combination of education and experience. Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff, groups and major projects or initiatives in the technology field.
Position Details:- Location: Downtown Tampa - GTE Headquarters
- Department Hours: Monday- Friday (8:00 am to 6:00 pm)
Full-time hours required, with additional hours necessary to accomplish objectives, goals, and projects.
The position is defined as hybrid in nature, (in-office, or remote) and may be changed at any time by management with appropriate notice, if possible.

- Some positions will require performance standards to be met to qualify for alternative work arrangements.
- Required to have power and high-speed internet over 100MB (minimum).

- Hybrid candidates must live within driving distance of the office location and be able to regularly commute to and from the office location as needed.
