VP Enterprise AI EnablementPosition SummaryThe VP Enterprise AI Enablement is a senior, enterprise-wide leadership role responsible for accelerating the effective adoption and practical use of artificial intelligence across the organization, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
The role is designed to drive measurable improvements in productivity, speed, accuracy, decision quality, and professional execution through the disciplined and widespread application of AI across all functions of the business. This includes-but is not limited to-operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, legal, human resources, commercial functions, and executive decision-making.
This position has been established as a
Board-level strategic priority to ensure the company remains competitive, expands margin, and continues to perform at a level consistent with a global industry leader.

Role Scope and IntentThis role is focused on
enterprise enablement and value creation, not technology ownership.
The VP will:
- Drive adoption of AI as a practical business tool
- Establish disciplined but lightweight processes for identifying, validating, and scaling high-value AI use cases
- Build momentum and enthusiasm for AI usage across the organization
- Ensure senior leadership is informed, aligned, and actively engaged
- Operate with a small footprint, leveraging influence, judgment, and internal partnerships rather than large teams, and evolve into a fit-for-purpose team over time as enterprise adoption, value realization, and scale justify additional dedicated resources
The role will
not:
- Own or manage IT infrastructure, systems, or cybersecurity
- Serve as a CIO, CTO, CDO, or successor to those roles
- Build or operate large technical teams
- Function as a research or experimentation lab
Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise AI Enablement- Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases across all business functions
- Translate AI capabilities into practical, repeatable applications that improve day-to-day work
- Promote consistent, responsible, and effective use of AI tools across the enterprise
- Focus on outcomes such as productivity improvement, error reduction, cycle-time compression, and improved decision quality
Leadership Alignment and Engagement- Educate and advise the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board on AI-related opportunities and implications
- Secure senior leadership sponsorship and commitment to enterprise adoption
- Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders on where and how AI can create value
Operating Model and Execution- Establish a structured yet agile framework for:
- Use-case intake and prioritization
- Rapid testing and validation
- Scaling successful applications
- Operate effectively with minimal dedicated staff, relying on internal champions and cross-functional collaboration
- Maintain a strong bias toward speed, clarity, and tangible results
Cultural Impact- Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and responsible innovation
- Help embed AI usage into standard workflows rather than isolated initiatives
- Raise overall standards of professionalism, consistency, and execution quality across the organization

- Experience operating effectively in complex, multinational organizations

- External candidate with a proven pattern of execution in comparable environments
Potential backgrounds may include senior transformation roles, advisory or consulting leadership with execution responsibility, or operator/founder profiles with experience inside large enterprises.
