ABOUT THE ROLE

Intellistack is looking for a VP, Customer Solutions to lead the teams that focuses on the customer's time to value. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, you'll own the strategy, delivery quality, and team leadership for our Sales Engineering, Implementation Engineering, and Solutions Architecture organizations. You'll lead through a team of Directors and Senior Managers across each discipline. You'll have direct ownership of services bookings/revenue, margin, utilization, and commercial strategy. This is a highly visible, cross-functional leadership role for someone who has scaled professional services or technical customer-facing teams at a B2B SaaS company and knows how to balance speed, quality, and customer trust at scale.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Own the commercial performance of Professional Services, including bookings, revenue, gross margin, utilization, and forecast accuracy.
  • Build and execute the Professional Services growth strategy, identifying opportunities to expand services revenue across new and existing customers.
  • Partner closely with Sales to scope, position, price, and close services as part of strategic customer engagements.
  • Bring demonstrated experience commercializing Professional Services, including packaging, pricing, SOW development, and services attach strategies.
  • Own services pipeline and forecasting, with clear accountability for bookings, revenue conversion, backlog, and capacity planning.
  • Develop repeatable services offerings and packages that accelerate customer time-to-value while creating scalable, profitable revenue streams.
  • Bring strong SaaS commercial experience, with an understanding of how Professional Services can accelerate software adoption, expansion, retention, and ARR growth.
  • Serve as an executive-level customer partner, able to connect business requirements to implementation strategy and articulate the value of additional services investment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, balancing customer needs with product capabilities, implementation complexity, and long-term maintainability.
  • Develop and execute a Professional Services partner strategy that leverages SIs, consulting firms, and implementation partners to scale delivery capacity, extend market reach, and support company growth.


WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 10+ years of Professional Services experience in B2B SaaS, with progressive leadership responsibility and direct ownership of commercial outcomes.
  • Strong commercial orientation, with demonstrated ownership of services bookings, revenue, gross margin, utilization, and forecast accuracy.
  • Strong technical leadership experience, with the ability to lead teams responsible for complex implementations, integrations, solution architecture, and enterprise deployments.
  • Proven experience building and scaling Professional Services organizations that balance revenue growth, profitability, delivery excellence, and customer outcomes.
  • Track record of developing services strategy, including packaging, pricing, scoping, SOW development, attach strategies, and repeatable offerings.
  • Experience building and executing a Professional Services partner strategy, including identifying, enabling, and managing SIs, consulting firms, and implementation partners.
  • Deep experience partnering with Sales throughout the sales cycle to scope solutions, position services, navigate complex customer requirements, and close business.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS business model and the role Professional Services plays in accelerating time-to-value, adoption, retention, expansion, and ARR growth.
  • Demonstrated financial and operational discipline, including capacity planning, resource management, project profitability, change management, and margin optimization.
  • Ability to build scalable delivery models, determining the right balance between internal resources, partners, and repeatable implementation methodologies.
  • Executive-level customer presence, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, understand business objectives, and translate them into successful services engagements.
  • Data-driven leadership approach, using KPIs and operating metrics to identify issues, make decisions, and drive accountability.
  • Experience leading technical resources, including solution architects, implementation consultants, developers, integration specialists, and other technical services professionals.
  • Cross-functional leadership experience working effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Partnerships.
  • Strong technical judgment with a commercial mindset, understanding how architecture and implementation decisions impact delivery cost, margin, scalability, customer satisfaction, and future expansion.
  • Builder mentality, comfortable creating the processes, systems, talent, and operating cadence required to scale a Professional Services organization.

BONUS POINTS
  • Experience with no-code/low-code, workflow automation, contract lifecycle management (CLM), or data platform products.
  • Experience leading services teams through an M&A integration, rebrand, or major platform transition.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, or professional services automation (PSA) platforms.

COMPENSATION

The On-Target-Earnings for this role are $300,000-$325,000, comprised of a base salary and variable. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
