Job Description:
The Vice President, Client Value Realization & Enablement is a key member of the Client Leadership Team, reporting to the Chief Client Officer. This executive is responsible for ensuring enterprise clients achieve measurable financial, operational, and clinical outcomes while maximizing adoption, executive engagement, retention, and long-term growth. This leader oversees three highly integrated functions: Client Value Realization, Client Enablement, and Strategic Account Ownership. The role serves as a trusted advisor to executive client stakeholders and collaborates across Client Success, Professional Services, Support, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure clients realize sustained value throughout their journey.

Client Value Strategy & Governance
  • Develop and execute the enterprise-wide client value realization strategy.
  • Establish standardized frameworks for measuring customer outcomes and return on investment.
  • Create value realization methodologies applicable across all product lines and customer segments.
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting mechanisms that quantify customer outcomes.
  • Lead governance processes that monitor customer value achievement and retention risk.


Customer Outcome Management
  • Define success metrics aligned with customer business objectives during onboarding and implementation.
  • Ensure value realization plans are established for strategic and enterprise clients.
  • Monitor achievement of operational, financial, clinical, and user adoption outcomes.
  • Lead quarterly and annual value reviews with executive customer stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate barriers preventing customers from achieving expected outcomes.


Client Enablement
  • Equip clients with the knowledge, tools, and best practices needed to maximize adoption and self-sufficiency.
  • Lead client-facing training, knowledge distribution, certification programs, and adoption programs.
  • Build scalable enablement assets that improve client readiness and product utilization.


Strategic Account Ownership
  • Serve as an executive sponsor for targeted, high-value clients.
  • Guide value realization programs that support retention and expansion.
  • Partner with strategic account teams to strengthen senior-level client relationships and drive long-term growth.


Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Product Management to align roadmap priorities with customer outcome needs.
  • Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure implementations are designed for measurable value realization.
  • Work with Customer Success teams to drive adoption, health, and issue resolution.
  • Support Sales and Marketing with success stories, benchmarks, and outcome evidence.


Customer Advocacy & Market Differentiation
  • Develop case studies and customer success stories demonstrating measurable outcomes.
  • Build benchmark data that differentiates the company in the marketplace.
  • Establish customer advisory councils focused on value achievement and best practices.


Team Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing Client Value Realization & Enablement organization.
  • Establish goals, operating rhythms, and performance standards.
  • Develop talent and succession plans within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer centricity, and measurable outcomes.


Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • MBA, MHA, MPH, or other advanced business or healthcare degree preferred.


Experience Required:
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare technology, healthcare SaaS, consulting, customer success, value engineering, professional services, or strategic account management.
  • Demonstrated success working with enterprise healthcare organizations, health systems, physician groups, payers, or healthcare service organizations.
  • Experience building ROI models, business cases, and outcome measurement frameworks.
  • Experience supporting customer retention, renewal, and expansion strategies.


Preferred Experience:
  • Healthcare IT, EHR, Revenue Cycle Management, Patient Engagement, Population Health, Interoperability, AI, Analytics, or Value-Based Care solutions.
  • Experience in healthcare operations, consulting, or healthcare performance improvement.
  • Experience creating benchmark programs and customer value management methodologies.

  • Knowledge of: Client value realization strategies, methodologies, and governance frameworks. Client lifecycle management, including onboarding, implementation, adoption, retention, expansion, and renewal.
  • Client enablement strategies and adoption programs. Strategic account management, executive engagement, and customer success practices.

  • Ability to: Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders, including CEOs, CIOs, CMIOs, CFOs, COOs, and clinical leadership teams.
