The Opportunity

The Vice President, Capital Markets & Corporate Development is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for the Company's capital allocation strategy, financing activities, investor relations, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and enterprise value creation.

The role partners closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors to ensure the Company maintains a strong financial position, optimizes its capital structure, executes strategic growth initiatives, and effectively communicates its value proposition to investors and stakeholders.

The Vice President leads the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, strategic partnerships, and major investment opportunities while maintaining responsibility for treasury management, capital markets activities, investor relations, and long-range strategic planning.

The position serves as a trusted advisor on corporate strategy, market opportunities, capital deployment, shareholder value creation, and financial risk management.

What You'll Lead

Capital Markets & Financial Stewardship:

Lead the development and execution of the Company's capital allocation and financing strategy.
Optimize capital structure, liquidity, and financial flexibility to support business objectives.
Provide recommendations regarding debt and equity financing, dividends, share repurchases, and other capital deployment priorities.
Oversee relationships with lenders, banks, rating agencies, and financial advisors.
Monitor capital market conditions, interest rates, commodity market dynamics, and financial risks that may impact funding requirements and access to capital.
Oversee treasury activities, including liquidity management, covenant compliance, and financial risk management.

Corporate Development:

Lead the identification, evaluation, negotiation, and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and other corporate transactions.
Oversee transaction execution, including valuation, due diligence, structuring, financing, negotiation, and integration planning.
Evaluate major capital investments and business development opportunities to ensure alignment with financial, operational, and shareholder return objectives.
Assess market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive developments across the energy infrastructure sector.
Provide recommendations to executive leadership and the Board regarding growth opportunities, portfolio optimization, and investment decisions.

Investor Relations & Market Engagement:

Lead the Company's investor relations strategy and engagement with shareholders, analysts, debt investors, and rating agencies.
Communicate the Company's financial performance, capital allocation framework, growth initiatives, and investment proposition to the investment community.
Oversee earnings communications, investor presentations, annual reporting, conferences, roadshows, and investor events.
Monitor shareholder feedback, analyst perspectives, and market perceptions to support executive decision-making and investor confidence.

Leadership & Governance:

Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors on capital markets, financing, investor relations, and corporate development matters.
Lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for capital markets, treasury, investor relations, and corporate development activities.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and disciplined capital allocation.
Ensure compliance with securities regulations, financing obligations, public disclosure requirements, and corporate governance standards.
Support Board and Committee activities through the preparation of financial, capital allocation, financing, and recommendations for corporate development.

What You Bring to the Role

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline.
MBA, CFA, CPA, CBV, or equivalent advanced business or finance designation is preferred.

Experience:

15+ years of progressive experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, treasury, corporate development, strategic planning, or investor relations.
Proven track record leading complex financings, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives.
Experience working with publicly traded companies and engaging with investors, lenders, rating agencies, and Boards of Directors.
Significant experience within the energy, midstream, infrastructure, utilities, or industrial sectors.
Demonstrated success influencing executive-level decisions and driving long-term value creation.
Demonstrates solid presentation skills and verbal/written communication skills.
