Full Job Description
This role is responsible for driving new business and managing revenue retention and growth within their book of business.

Our Producers focus on existing verticals served by BevCap Management and work to develop new ones. Within these verticals, we have deep relationships and endorsements from multiple trade groups and associations. This position will be focused on our Auto Dealer's niche and requires a vast network with extensive experience.

This is distinctly different from other generalists in that we maintain excellent data on our prospects and have a much more focused pool of businesses to prospect from. Our verticals are supported with proprietary, niche programs we manage. Our typical prospects and clients are mid to upper middle-market and National Account level businesses. This role will have significant interaction with client C-suites and ownership and must be able to articulate complex concepts to ensure risk is treated adequately and appropriate insurance products are presented to the client.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies with prospects and client
  • Manage overall client relationship with focus on client satisfaction and adequate treatment of risk
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively
  • Achieve new business sales goals
  • Excellent ability to drive the client acquisition process through prospect due diligence
  • Consistently overcome obstacles on a deal-by-deal basis
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking and creativity for prospects and clients
  • Pursue cross-selling with Employee Benefits team as well as key business partners
  • Professionally represent BevCap at external events like trade shows, seminars, networking opportunities, and client meetings.
  • Strategize and work collaboratively with account managers and consultants to retain and grow revenue with clients
  • Effectively manage pipeline through use of CRM (salesforce/salesloft)
  • Travel as necessary for prospecting, presenting proposals, and client relations
  • Advocate on client's behalf with carrier underwriters

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 plus years of relevant experience in Risk Management and Insurance field, direct to client sales preferred
  • TX Property & Casualty insurance license (or equivalent) or ability to be licensed within 30 days of hiring
  • Strong understanding of all core lines of Property & Casualty Insurance coverage
  • Strong network within the auto dealer's industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent follow up skills and highly organized
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Willingness to work in office with team when needed and attend in-person meetings with clients
  • Ability to perform at a high level with minimal supervision
