Your role

As a Business Controller, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, steering the organization's accounting functions and empowering strategic financial decisions through precise and timely reporting. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll contribute significantly to our overall success.

Short Description

You provide executive leadership for the Company's business control, accounting, and financial governance activities, serving as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and as a key member of the Executive Management Committee, and oversee accounting, purchasing, and IT functions while supporting commercial contract reviews in partnership with Legal.

Your day-to-day

  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance on business decisions, profitability, and risk.
  • Direct financial planning and analysis activities, including revenue forecasting, margin analysis, business performance reporting, and management dashboards.
  • Lead the accounting function, including internal controls, compliance, cash flow management, billing, collections, tax, treasury, and risk management.
  • Lead the purchasing function to align sourcing strategies, supplier agreements, and procurement performance with business objectives.
  • Oversee the IT function, including governance, priorities, and cost management, to support business operations and scalable systems.
  • Monitor and manage tariff-related financial and operational impacts, including cost implications, compliance considerations, and business recommendations.
  • Review customer commercial terms and conditions in partnership with Legal to identify financial and operational risk and support compliant, commercially sound agreements.
  • Coach, develop, and support team members while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Your skills and experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, business control, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a senior finance or business control role.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting within a distribution, engineered products, manufacturing, or service-oriented environment.
  • Experience leading finance within a smaller business environment while operating effectively in a large, global organization.
  • Experience evaluating business, legal, and commercial risk and partnering cross-functionally to implement practical risk mitigation strategies.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance
  • MBA or CPA preferred
