VP, Account Management - Southeast


 

What you will be doing:

The VP, Account Management is accountable for the overall management and strategic direction of their respective region ensuring successful achievement of the customer-aligned commercial structure including: Driving awareness of programs and services (Learn), lead to customer evaluations and purchasing (Buy), ensure successful implantation of enterprise products and solutions (Install) and then tracking the customers adoption and use to ensure their return on investment (Adopt). This all ultimately will lead to highlight satisfied and delighted customers who will recommend our programs to their colleagues.

This role is responsible for the region's Profit & Loss (P&L) as it relates to budgetary controls (i.e., resources, travel), developing and implementing region strategies to drive growth and ensure achievement of sales quota through robust talent management, driving a sales funnel, ensuring closed business that aligns to budget and quarterly expectations and guidance across the entire Premier enterprise. The individual in this role will also, be charged with, retaining and renewing Premier business. They will optimize operational efficiency, oversee budgeting, region investments, including recruitment, marketing allocation, and overall budget management, profitability of region and ensure a robust talent management process. Finally, they will be adept at working across multiple stakeholders in both the customer base and within Premier to drive mutually beneficial outcomes.

This position is critical to ensuring that Premier's value proposition is effectively communicated and delivered to all stakeholders within the region.

Key Responsibilities

Region Strategy and Growth – 50%

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive growth within the region, aligned with Premier's mission, vision, and values.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Premier's market presence.

  • Optimize the achievement of financial goals and customer satisfaction within the region.

Financial Accountability – 20%

  • Responsible for the region's P&L, budgeting, and financial planning.

  • Ensure effective allocation of resources, including marketing funds and recruitment strategies.

  • Develop and manage the region's operating budget to achieve financial objectives.

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to define go-to-market sales strategy and growth plan for their region.

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management – 15%

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, business partners / internal colleagues, and regulatory bodies.

  • Act as the principal spokesperson for the region on significant matters, representing Premier to external stakeholders.

Leadership and Team Development – 10%

  • Provide inspirational leadership that motivates, develops, and rewards team members.

  • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to ensure the region has the necessary capabilities to meet current and future needs.

  • Foster a collaborative One-Premier and high-performance culture within the region.

Operational Oversight and Performance – 5%

  • Monitor and report on the region's performance, implementing necessary improvements to achieve strategic targets.

Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $205,000 - $380,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
