EVS is seeking a VoIP Engineer III for an upcoming proposal effort. * The VoIP Engineer provides mission-essential Tier 3 voice engineering support for the EACN Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol environment. The position performs or assists with applicable Network Engineering Tier 3 functions and develops, configures, secures, patches, and enhances voice systems and Session Initiation Protocol connections.
*This position is contingent upon the award of the contract. The anticipated start date and scope of work will be determined based on the outcome of the interview process and the details of the awarded contract.
- Perform or assist with applicable Network Engineering Tier 3 functions.
- Configure, develop, patch, apply Security Technical Implementation Guides to, enhance, and add features to the Cisco VoIP system.
- Support Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Ribbon VX900 devices, Instant Message and Presence, and teleconference bridges.
- Develop configurations and methods for Cisco Unified Border Elements, Session Border Controllers, and other network devices that use Session Initiation Protocol to connect EACN to external voice systems.
- Develop configurations for SIP connections between the EACN VoIP network and customer networks, including Asterisk networks, Call Manager Express, Survivable Remote Site Telephony, and other Cisco VoIP networks.
- Support and sustain the VoIP capability installed in the Scott Systems Integration Laboratory and in the JBA, JBLM, and Scott AFB operational A2G2 environment.
Requirements
- Cisco voice certification with concentration on Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration) / within six months of employment and requires certification status to be maintained.
- Five (5) years of Voice over IP (VoIP) experience.
- TOP SECRET security clearance at the time of contract award.
Salary Description
$119,200 to $130,500 annual based on experience
