Full Job Description

As a Sr. Voice Security Consultant within our Verizon Consulting Services (VCS) practice, focusing on strategic advisory and consulting services for voice security and digital transformation, you’ll be working as a customer-facing resource to assess, advise, and drive large-scale, global, complex, multi-departmental Voice Security solutions. The advisory consulting team engages with client stakeholders to define and architect strategic business objectives. This role requires a demonstrable track record in supporting complex voice security (discover, detect, prevent, remediate, etc.) transformation programs, ensuring proposed initiatives align with customer business goals and deliver clear, quantifiable value.

What you will be doing:

  • Supporting executive-level relationships: maintaining connections with client stakeholders to advise them on achieving strategic voice security business objectives.

  • Conducting discovery workshops: facilitating sessions to understand customer strategic needs, objectives, and pain points related to CX transformation and voice security.

  • Quantifying value of new voice security initiatives: providing the necessary technical acumen to quantify the value of new customer initiatives, ensuring they align with the customer’s business goals.

  • Crafting compelling narratives: assisting in the development of persuasive communications and strategic roadmaps to align stakeholders on transformative initiatives and guide organizational change.

  • Strategic voice security consulting: advising customers on end-to-end voice security frameworks, including solutions for fraud prevention & authentication, real-time fraud detection & intelligence, investigation & forensics strategy, and regulatory compliance & network defense, and wireless carrier grade authentication.

  • Consulting for large scale complex solutions: providing expertise in the implementation of multi-departmental voice security solutions with a focus on end-to-end delivery excellence.

  • Preparing customer-facing material: creating high-value strategic documents such as proactive proposals, technical project plans, solution designs, and strategic transformation blueprints.

  • Providing expert guidance: serving as a subject matter expert and guiding business decisions from a technical perspective on issues such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

  • Participating in industry engagements: participating in security panel discussions and assisting in the preparation of materials for session, C-suite, and industry speaking engagements.

What we are looking for:

  • Communication: demonstrated exceptional oral/written communications skills to both technical and non-technical audiences, with the ability to articulate complex voice security concepts clearly.

  • Experience: proven experience consulting on and implementing complex voice security programs.

  • Deep subject matter expertise (SME) in voice security: expertise in complex voice security technologies and frameworks, including advanced fraud prevention and authentication methods, and implementing solutions for real-time fraud detection and intelligence.

  • Architectural experience: demonstrated track record in the development and implementation of complex, multi-departmental solutions.

  • Regulatory & forensics knowledge: practical knowledge of voice regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., STIR/SHAKEN) and experience advising on investigation, forensics & remediation strategies.

  • Specialized Security Depth: practical knowledge of "Know Your Customer" (KYC) practices for certificate signing, Certificate Revocation List (CRL) management, and implementation of STIR/SHAKEN blocking policies.

  • Risk & Operations Strategy: experience with FCC/FAA compliance reporting, performing comprehensive Threat and Risk Assessments, and leveraging real-time monitoring for rapid network response.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Expertise and leadership in security products, wireless and wireline security products, and commercial business development.

  • Established and proven expertise in branded caller ID, and associated product development.

  • Experience in participating in security panel discussions and contributing to industry and conference speaking engagements.

  • Established expertise in voice security product management.

  • Established expertise in professional services resale and vendor management.

  • Experience consulting on enterprise-level voice security initiatives, focusing on the implementation of regulatory compliance and fraud prevention programs.

  • Excellent client relationship management, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Strong project governance and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%.

Even better if you have:

  • Specialized Voice Security Toolset: Proficiency in network tools specific to voice security and analytics, such as Ribbon Analytics, Kibana, Elastic, and nGenius.

  • Financial acumen: expertise in developing and presenting financial ROI and TCO models for large-scale voice security solutions and transformations.

  • Prior roles, experience, and expertise in voice, telecom, wireless, or security vendor management.

  • Direct experience consulting on and implementing Pindrop voice security solutions.

  • Direct experience consulting on and implementing Securelogix services and platforms (e.g., Orchestra One, ANI spoof protection).

  • Experience coordinating management of technical, security, and network architecture frameworks.

  • Enhanced unified communications or telecommunications knowledge.

  • Experience with workforce management, Genesys, NICE, Cisco, or other CCaaS/UCaaS technology platforms.

  • Experience with Clarity, SAP, and/or Smartsheet.

Where you’ll be working
In this mobile role, you'll primarily work from customer or field location(s), with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
