Full Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate DHS' brand message and support federal client deliverables. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and the ability to work within brand guidelines while meeting project deadlines in a federal contracting environment.

Responsibilities for this role will include the following:

  • Design and produce high-quality graphics for digital and print media, including presentations, reports, and briefings
  • Work directly with
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions
  • Translate complex concepts and strategies into compelling data visualizations and infographics to support DHS executives
  • Manage multiple projects and shifting priorities simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
  • Prepare files for print production or digital distribution
  • Ensure all deliverables meet federal agency branding and style guide requirements
  • Assist UX designers in creating mockups and prototypes
  • Create Section 508 compliant and accessible documents


  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust

  • Minimum 5 years of graphic design experience
  • Self-starter with acute attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and multi-task on multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate solution
  • Highly developed interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively and professionally interact with a diverse set of stakeholders (from peers to end-users to executive management)
  • Results-oriented with high expectations for quality, accuracy, and overall excellence
  • Familiarity with Section 508 and accessibility requirements


Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
