You'll conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, deliver direct therapy services, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve meaningful communication and academic success.
This is a
full-time, temporary assignment (40 hours/week) supporting students in
grades 5-8 from
August 10 through October 30.
What You'll Do:- Conduct speech and language evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 60 students
- Complete and maintain compliant IEP documentation using PowerSchool
- Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and multidisciplinary team collaboration
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress across educational settings
- Maintain accurate therapy notes, progress reports, and required documentation
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) as applicable
What We're Looking For:Must Have:- Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Current Pennsylvania Department of Education Educational Specialist certification (or eligibility to obtain, if required)
- Ability to complete all required criminal background clearances
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Experience working with school-aged students
Preferred:- One or more years of school-based Speech-Language Pathology experience
- Experience managing school-based caseloads and IEP compliance
- Familiarity with PowerSchool or similar student information/IEP systems
- Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary educational teams
