We're looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Virtual Infrastructure Engineer to help build and maintain the systems behind our virtual desktop environments. You'll work with technologies like Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMware Horizon), vSphere, and Citrix, supporting thousands of u across enterprise platforms. If you enjoy solving complex problems, automating tasks, and working with cutting-edge virtualization tools, this role is for you.
You Will:
Build and manage the infrastructure that powers virtual desktops and servers.
Configure and maintain vSphere, storage, and server environments.
Use PowerShell, SOAP, and REST APIs to automate tasks and streamline operations.
Troubleshoot and fix infrastructure issues-going beyond diagnosis to full resolution.
Create and maintain scripts for managing u , machines, databases, and migrations.
Ensure system updates don't disrupt existing automations or performance.
Work with Active Directory and other backend systems to support virtual environments.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), including 3+ years with Omnissa Horizon.
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, with experience using SOAP/REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, server setup, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with Citrix, HPVS, and F5 load balancing (APM, LTM).
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues independently.
Experience with database queries (T-SQL) and directory services (AD, ADLDS).
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Certifications in VMware, Citrix, or related technologies.
Experience in large-scale enterprise environments (40,000+ u ).
Knowledge of best practices for performance, reliability, and secure infrastructure design.
