The Virtual Sales Representative (VSR) is responsible for driving product awareness, adoption, and demand through compliant virtual engagement with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff. This role manages a targeted virtual territory, builds customer relationships, and delivers promotional and educational interactions via phone, video, and digital channels. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can operate independently, prioritize opportunities, and execute effectively in a performance-driven environment.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Customer Engagement & Sales Execution- Execute outbound calls, video engagements, and digital interactions with targeted HCPs and office staff.
- Deliver clear, compelling, and compliant product messaging aligned to customer needs using approved materials.
- Build rapport and establish trust through strong virtual presence and communication.
- Utilize multiple company-approved digital channels to increase engagement frequency and expand reach.
Territory Support & Account Management- Manage a defined list of target accounts, prioritizing opportunities to maximize impact.
- Develop and execute compliant call plans aligned with brand strategy.
- Analyze engagement data to refine targeting and execution.
Performance & Execution ExcellenceMeet or exceed call activity expectations, engagement goals, and performance metrics.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all customer interactions within CRM systems.
Manage daily activity efficiently to maximize territory coverage and productivity.
Compliance & Professional Development- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, training, and compliance standards.
- Ensure all communications are accurate, compliant, and aligned with approved messaging.
- Complete all required training and maintain strong clinical and product knowledge.
- Contribute to a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
RequirementsThis is a remote/virtual sales opportunity which will require you to work during the hours aligned to the time zone of the region supported (EST, CST, MST, or PST). This role will support the Central time zone so the individual should reside in this zone.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 1-3+ years pharmaceutical, healthcare, or B2B sales experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills.
- Experience engaging customers via phone, video, or digital platforms
- Proficiency with CRM and digital engagement tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- High integrity and compliance mindset.
Preferred Qualifications- Inside/virtual pharmaceutical sales experience.
- GI or specialty experience.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Fluency in one or more additional languages is a plus, based on business needs
Travel Requirements- 5-10% for national meetings or training.
- Familiarity with hybrid or virtual commercial models.

The expected annual base salary range for this role is $75,000 - $95,000.
