Server At Work is an IT managed services provider looking for a Virtual Chief Information Officer (vCIO) to serve as a strategic technology advisor to multiple clients across industries. This role is responsible for aligning IT strategy with business goals, developing technology roadmaps, and ensuring clients receive high-value, forward-thinking guidance. The vCIO works closely with internal technical teams and client leadership to drive innovation, manage risk, and optimize IT investments. The vCIO will hold regular meetings with clients, lead strategy discussions, and plan client technology strategies.

The executive will work from the Server At Work office located in downtown Lake Charles, Louisiana. As needed, the executive will travel to client locations for meetings.

Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary technology advisor for assigned clients, building trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain IT roadmaps that align with client business objectives.
• Conduct regular strategic business reviews (QBRs) and present IT performance metrics, risk assessments, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals.
• Identify opportunities for technology improvements, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Guide clients through budgeting, compliance, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide proactive guidance.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in IT leadership, consulting, or strategic planning roles.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in or with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is highly preferred.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
• Qualified to work within the US.
• US Driver's license.

About the position:
• Work hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Central (Except major holidays).
