The Vice Principal works closely with the Principal and fellow administrators to oversee daily operations, support faculty and staff, and uphold academic and cultural excellence. This leader ensures a safe, engaging, and mission-driven environment that fosters growth for both students and staff.
Key ResponsibilitiesSchool Operations & Compliance- Manage day-to-day operations for early childhood and elementary programs.
- Ensure compliance with licensing and health/safety regulations.
- Maintain appropriate teacher-student ratios at all times.
Staff Development & Student Success- Supervise, coach, and support faculty and extended-day staff.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide instructional feedback.
- Facilitate professional development and regular staff meetings.
- Oversee student academic performance and growth metrics.
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
Campus Leadership & Culture- Assign staff schedules for arrival, lunch, recess, and dismissal.
- Maintain the school events calendar and support event execution.
- Collaborate with the Head of School to create a culture of excellence and support.
- Serve as a key contact for parent and staff communication and engagement.
- Attend at least one professional development workshop or conference annually.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Minimum of 15 ECE semester units (or equivalent), including:
- 12 units in child development, family/community, and curriculum.
- 3 units in administration and supervision.
- At least 4 years of teaching experience in a licensed early childhood or comparable program.
Preferred Qualifications- Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Adolescent Development.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in early childhood education.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills.
