DESCRIPTION We are looking for a dynamic educational leader to assume the role of Vice Principal for Franklin High School. Responsibilities would include assisting the Principal in carrying out any duties including the supervision and evaluation of professional and support staff. The ideal candidate will have: strong knowledge of instruction, assessment, supervision and evaluation of teacher growth and student achievement; demonstrated experience with curriculum development, scheduling, facilities management, personnel management, and community relations and outreach; excellent communication skills and be well versed with NJSLS, State Assessments and data analysis; knowledge of the instruction of English Language Learners, bilingual education, special education and secondary education.
QUALIFICATIONS - Candidates must possess a valid New Jersey Principal Certificate and have demonstrated successful teaching experience.
- Experience with the Danielson Framework and Positive Behavior Systems is preferred.
- Spanish speaking a plus.
- Ability to use instructional technology
COMPENSATION - In accordance with the provisions of the BOE/FTSAA collective bargaining agreement, the starting salary for this position is $100,000
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience and education.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited Google Suite, IEP software program and Genesis Employee Portal and Student Information System.
