About the Role
As a Vice President within the Technology & Business Services (TBS) Investment Banking group, you will play a central role in leading transaction execution, managing client relationships, and driving outcomes across M&A and capital markets engagements. You will serve as the day-to-day lead on deals, overseeing all aspects of execution while partnering closely with senior bankers on strategic direction and business development.
This role offers the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment-mentoring junior team members, building client relationships, and contributing directly to the growth of the TBS practice.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day execution of M&A, buy-side, sell-side, and capital markets transactions, including transaction timelines, team workflow, resource allocation, and project costs to ensure efficient and timely execution and high-quality outcomes for clients
- Drive all workstreams across live deals, including financial modeling and analysis, preparation of marketing materials, and management of due diligence
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, investors, and third-party advisors throughout the transaction lifecycle providing clear, concise communication to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all parties
- Supervise, mentor, and develop associates and analysts, maintaining and demonstrating high standards for accuracy and quality
- Partner with managing directors and senior leadership on business development initiatives, including pitch activity and building relationships with business owners, investors, and lenders
- Oversee associate and analyst deal team members
- Participate in the junior team talent management programs - hiring, selection, and training
- Balance multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

What We Look For
- 5+ years of investment banking experience with a strong track record of executing M&A and/or capital markets transactions
- Experience within Technology & Business Services is preferred but not required
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus
- FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex workstreams and transactions end-to-end
- Strong client management skills, with experience serving in a primary day-to-day client-facing role
- Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing junior team members
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with competing priorities

This role offers uncapped total compensation, with typical earnings of approximately $300,000-1,000,000 or more, depending on business development and execution performance. The annual base salary for this position is $150,000, and bonuses are paid upon transaction closing or throughout the year as revenue is collected.
