Job Description

SAIC is looking for a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to drive key alliances and strategic initiatives that will enhance the company's market presence and fuel its growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership and investment strategy, identifying new revenue streams, and nurturing relationships with key partners. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the technology industry, particularly in digital transformation, marketing technology, or SaaS, and at least 15 years of experience in alliance, partnership, corporate development, business development, or investment roles. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, the ability to influence and collaborate effectively, and a passion for driving innovation and growth in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities for this position include leading the evaluation and prioritization of strategic partnerships, negotiating partnership agreements, and structuring alliances to maximize value for the company and its partners. The Vice President will also lead cross-functional teams to execute partnership initiatives, drive thought leadership, and explore new business opportunities, including potential investments or acquisitions. The role is pivotal in the company's trajectory, and the successful candidate will directly report to Senior Vice President of our Innovation Factories and is a critical role in the company's expansion and success.

Responsibilities:
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential technology partners aligned with our business objectives and market strategy.
• Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, including executives, product managers, and technical teams.
• Work cross-functionally across the enterprise to ensure successful partnership integration and alignment with the company's strategic goals.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of partnerships. Regularly review partnership performance, make recommendations for improvements, and strategize on how to overcome challenges.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with partners.
  • Experience in contract development, financial modeling, and deal structuring.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
