Job Description

The Vice President, Retail Operations is responsible for leading the execution of highly technical, in-store shopper engagement programs while driving the development and scaling of new business and innovative service offerings. This leader will design and implement operational frameworks that enable innovation, ensure measurable performance, and seamlessly integrate new programs into existing retail operations.

This role plays a critical part in advancing technology-enabled solutions, including leveraging AI, data analytics, and automation to enhance execution, optimize performance, and deliver next-generation shopper engagement experiences across the retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Program Execution
    Lead the execution of complex, technology-enabled in-store shopper engagement programs, ensuring consistent delivery and scalable performance.
  • KPI Development & Performance Management
    Design and implement scorecarding and KPI frameworks; monitor program performance and make adjustments to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • New Business & Service Innovation
    Oversee the development of new service offerings from concept through pilot and full rollout, ensuring operational readiness and long-term viability.
  • Operational Framework Development
    Build structured, repeatable processes that support efficient execution, scalability, and consistency across all programs.
  • AI & Data-Driven Enablement
    Leverage AI, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to optimize field execution, enhance decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Business Integration
    Identify opportunities to integrate new programs into existing operations, ensuring alignment with current infrastructure and maximizing efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
    Partner across Sales, Analytics, Finance, HR, and Compliance to ensure alignment, feasibility, and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
