DescriptionWhat We Are Looking ForThe Vice President, Quality is an executive leadership role responsible for establishing and leading the global quality strategy, quality management systems, and overall quality activities for our design, development, supplier, and manufacturing activities. This leader will play a critical role in strengthening organizational stability, building a culture of quality and accountability, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring a scalable and sustainable quality function that supports business growth.
OnsiteThis role has an onsite work schedule requiring the person to be in the onsite location 5 days a week.
What You Will DoStrategic Quality Leadership- Establish and lead the global quality strategy in alignment with organizational objectives and customer requirements.
- Lead enterprise-wide quality strategy development and multi-year quality roadmap planning aligned with business growth objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership across global quality organizations and site quality leaders spanning multiple development and manufacturing locations.
- Act as a transformational leader and change agent, driving enterprise quality initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across global operations.
Quality Systems & Regulatory Compliance- Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with global medical device, industrial manufacturing, and quality standards, including FDA 21 CFR 820/QMSR, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, AS9100, MDSAP, EU MDR, UKCA, ANVISA, and other applicable international regulatory and customer requirements supporting global market access and manufacturing operations.
- Act as the executive sponsor and focal point for ISO, customer, and certification audits.
- Lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Operational Excellence- Drive measurable improvements in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), process capability, on-time delivery, and operational quality performance.
- Partner with functional organizations to improve process reliability, manufacturability, scalability, and production efficiency.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies across all operations.
Customer Quality & Post-Market Quality- Serve as the executive escalation leader for critical customer quality and post-market issues.
- Drive customer satisfaction initiatives through proactive quality management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Partner with commercial and operational teams to strengthen customer confidence, product reliability, and overall stakeholder value.
Organizational Leadership & Talent Development- Lead and mentor global quality teams by establishing clear strategic direction, organizational priorities, and employee development plans.
- Build a high-performing and engaging team culture aligned with company values, accountability, and operational excellence.
- Actively develop succession planning and organizational capability across the quality organization.
QualificationsWhat You Will Bring- Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, quality management, business, or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive quality leadership experience within medical device manufacturing, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, automotive, life sciences, or other manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated expertise with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, AS9100, EU MDR, MDSAP, and other quality frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree, MBA, or advanced technical degree preferred.
- ASQ certifications such as CQE, CQA, CQM, Reliability Engineer, or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
- Experience working in additive manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing environments.
