About this Position

What you'll do
  • Strategic Leadership & Regional Alignment Provide strategic direction for regional operations by translating enterprise objectives into site-level execution plans that drive performance, growth, and alignment with global manufacturing and supply chain priorities.
  • Operational Excellence & Performance Management Establish and sustain a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of Lean, Six Sigma, and TPM principles, ensuring measurable gains in efficiency, cost, quality, and service across all sites.
  • Manufacturing Leadership Oversee all manufacturing operations across seven sites in North America and Mexico to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective production that meets business demand, optimizes asset utilization, and supports long-term competitiveness.
  • Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure all sites maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate standards, targeting world-class safety and environmental performance with zero incidents and zero harm.
  • People & Organizational Development Lead and develop high-performing teams by mentoring plant managers and functional leaders, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and empowerment that builds long-term organizational capability.
  • Cost & Productivity Optimization Drive sustainable productivity improvements and cost optimization by leveraging operational excellence programs, process innovation, and digital tools to maximize efficiency and profitability.
  • Quality & Customer Service Ensure consistent delivery of superior product quality and service by embedding a right-first-time mindset and partnering with cross-functional teams to exceed customer expectations and meet regulatory standards.
  • Sustainability & Digital Transformation Advance the regional sustainability agenda and accelerate digital transformation by integrating energy efficiency, waste reduction, automation, and data analytics into all aspects of plant operations.
  • Governance, Compliance & Reporting Ensure all operations comply with internal policies, external regulations, and ethical standards while providing transparent, data-driven reporting and insights to regional and global leadership.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate seamlessly with Supply Chain, Quality, R&D, and Commercial functions to align operational capabilities with business needs, enabling innovation, agility, and end-to-end value creation.
What makes you a good fit
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale manufacturing or process industries (chemical, materials, or adjacent sectors).
  • Minimum 8-10 years of direct operational and plant leadership experience, including line responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven track record leading Lean Six Sigma / Operational Excellence transformations at enterprise or regional scale.
  • Experience in digital operationsDemonstrated success in managing cross-regional organizations and influencing senior leadership in a matrixed, global environment.
  • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification preferred.Exposure to sustainability and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) implementation programs is an advantage.
