Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Product Partnership to lead our partnership initiatives and drive product growth through strategic alliances. This executive role will be instrumental in identifying, developing, and managing key partnerships that enhance our product portfolio, accelerate market expansion, and create competitive advantages. The ideal candidate will combine deep product expertise with exceptional relationship-building skills and a proven track record of executing high-impact partnership strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership Development
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product partnership strategy aligned with company objectives and product roadmap
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize partnership opportunities that drive product innovation and market expansion
  • Lead negotiations for complex partnership agreements, including technology integrations, co-development initiatives, and go-to-market collaborations
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with strategic partners, technology vendors, and industry leaders

Product Integration & Innovation
  • Collaborate with Product Management to identify partnership opportunities that enhance product capabilities and user experience
  • Drive technical integration initiatives with partners, ensuring seamless product interoperability
  • Champion partner-driven innovation and co-creation initiatives that differentiate our products in the market
  • Oversee API strategy and developer ecosystem partnerships

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful partnership execution
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to launch and scale partnership-driven products and features
  • Establish partnership governance frameworks and operational excellence standards
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing partnerships team

Business Development & Growth
  • Define and track partnership KPIs, ROI metrics, and success criteria
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic channel partnerships and alliance programs
  • Develop business cases for new partnership investments and present to executive leadership and board
  • Manage partnership P&L and budget allocation

Market & Ecosystem Development
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner summits
  • Build thought leadership in product partnerships through speaking engagements and industry contributions
  • Stay current with market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging partnership models
  • Develop ecosystem strategies that create network effects and platform advantages


Required Qualifications
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in product management, business development, or strategic partnerships
  • Minimum 5 years in senior leadership roles managing partnership or product teams
  • Proven track record of negotiating and executing enterprise-level partnership agreements worth $10M+
  • Experience in SaaS, platform businesses, or technology ecosystems preferred
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling partner programs from inception to maturity
  • Working with Partners like - GCP, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, NVDIA, and AMD.


Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to translate vision into executable partnership strategies
  • Strong product sense with ability to identify partnership opportunities that create customer value
  • Outstanding negotiation and deal-structuring capabilities
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills for C-level engagement
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Experience with partnership platforms, CRM systems, and collaboration tools


Education
  • Bachelor's degree required; Computer Science and technical undergraduate, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Technical background or product management certification is a plus


Preferred Qualifications
  • Depth in AI in the area of Interference, LLM, and depth in Data
  • Experience in building API/developer ecosystems and platform strategies
  • Knowledge of specific industry verticals relevant to our business
  • International partnership experience and global market understanding
  • Track record of successful M&A integration or joint venture management
  • Experience with emerging partnership models (marketplace, embedded partnerships, etc.)

Hiring Range:
$242,400 - $333,300 - for Primary Location of USA - CA - Palo Alto

The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience.

In addition to competitive base pay, this position also includes an annual incentive opportunity based on target achievement, pre-IPO stock options, benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with a match, and more, plus generous paid time off, paid holidays, paid day off for your birthday and other paid leave policies to support employees through all phases of life.
