Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE

In this opportunity as Vice President, Product Operations, you will own:

  • The future of the PM craft at TR. Define what "great" looks like for the AI-era Product Manager. Set the bar, model it visibly, and create the gravitational pull that raises the entire org.
  • Hands-on technical demonstration. Personally set up and showcase the modern AI development stack: Claude Code with GitHub integration, agentic prototyping workflows, evals frameworks, prompt libraries, AI cost attribution. Show the path; do not just describe it.
  • A unified operating model across Product, Engineering, and Design. Consistent practices and cadences, transparency on deliverables and decisions across the portfolio, and shared knowledge management.
  • AI tool governance. Sanctioned tools, license management, adoption tracking, ROI measurement, FinOps for LLMs.
  • A small, high-leverage execution team. Hand-picked 3-5 senior doers - not a layer of program managers. The execution arm that ships the future, not coordinates it.
  • Capability uplift programs. AI fluency, agentic design, evaluation discipline, outcome ownership across 400+ PMs.

YEAR ONE OUTCOMES

  • 90% of PMs actively using sanctioned AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, v0, Lovable) with measurable adoption metrics.
  • Shared evals framework live for AI features across product lines, with golden datasets per major product.
  • Demonstrable cycle-time reduction in prototyping and PRD-to-mockup (target: 50% reduction).
  • Visible PM craft uplift: every PM has demonstrated agentic prototyping capability.
  • One shared knowledge management spine in production, so context is not trapped in individuals.

ABOUT YOU

You're a fit for the role of Vice President, Product Operations if you are:

  • Independent and self-driven. You operate without direction, set your own agenda, and pull the org toward a future others cannot yet see clearly.
  • Technically fluent and hands-on. You can pair on Claude Code with an engineer. You have built and shipped AI-native features in production. You have set up agentic dev environments yourself, not delegated them.
  • A charismatic communicator and driver. You make others want to raise their game. You sell the future with confidence - in writing, in person, on stage.
  • A builder, not a process designer. Your instinct is to demonstrate, ship, and create reusable infrastructure - not to install ceremonies or write playbooks no one reads.
  • A future-oriented operator. You have lived this transformation at a leading AI-native organization. You know where the puck is going because you have been there.

EXPERIENCE PROFILE

  • 10+ years in product or product operations leadership.
  • 3+ years building AI-native products in production - not just adjacent to AI work.
  • Hands-on with the modern stack: Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, v0 / Lovable / Bolt, evals tooling (Braintrust, LangSmith, or equivalent), RAG architectures, agent frameworks.
  • Led transformation at scale in a 200+ PM organization (preferred: Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, Linear, Notion, Figma, Atlassian, Intuit, Shopify, Adobe, ServiceNow, or comparable AI-forward orgs).
  • Built and led small high-leverage teams - has demonstrated they can do more with less.
  • Cross-functional executive influence without formal authority - has navigated CTO, CPO, segment leader dynamics before.

STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Founder or early-employee experience at an AI-native company that scaled.
  • Public technical thought leadership - blog posts, talks, open-source contributions, or published frameworks.
  • Experience in regulated industries (legal, financial services, healthcare) where AI governance is non-trivial.
  • Track record of pulling existing organizations through cultural transformation, not just greenfield builds.
