Your work directly influences how people and businesses move money every day. Together, we create safer, faster, and more accessible payment experiences.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop a product strategy and vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manage discovery, execution, and market research to uncover customer needs and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Own, maintain, and prioritize a product backlog that enables Product Owners to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Lead a team of Product Managers and Associates to execute on the product vision
  • Serve as a center of knowledge — maintain deep curiosity about product controls and monitoring, set the standard for the team's controls environment, and drive and strengthen the control framework
  • Manage key relationships — partner with engineering, architecture, product, control and compliance, and data analytics stakeholders to drive decision-making
  • Communicate effectively and often — share strategy, roadmap, progress, and insights broadly and systematically; craft the narrative and cadence for different partner and stakeholder audiences; and explain the "why" behind your work
  • Support agile product delivery, including backlog grooming, launch and go-to-market, production support, and issue, defect, and prioritization resolution
  • Monitor performance against goals, scope implementation paths for needed enhancements, and create remediation plans when required
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Risk, Controls, Legal, Compliance) to ensure a strong risk and controls environment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading a team in a product environment
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities, including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with engineers and technical partners, and to translate customer and control needs into clear product delivery or technical requirements
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated ability to build a robust partnership with the Quad (Product, Experience, and Technology / Architecture / Data & Analytics) to achieve superior results
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrixed organization in a highly dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep understanding of a risk and controls environment — including controls, compliance, and legal engagement — with stakeholders as key end users, plus experience rolling out mission-critical software to the field
  • Passionate and vocal, balanced with a willingness to learn, collaborate, and work across all levels and backgrounds
  • Structured thinker and effective communicator — concise and impactful, with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize a large book of work, meetings, team dynamics, and overall delivery
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points of view and maintain grounded, productive discussions, including with senior leadership
