Job DescriptionWe're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Private Banking - Business Banker to join our Wealth Management Private Banking team. This role is located in New York City.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop and execute business development strategies by leveraging market insights and client feedback to expand BNY's private banking client base.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by demonstrating expertise in private banking and delivering personalized financial solutions.
- Liaise with internal teams to support seamless product delivery and sales execution.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure services align with client needs and BNY's strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within private banking to enhance client experience and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain reporting systems to track product performance and sales activity, enabling data-driven decision-making.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Typically 5-8 years of experience in private banking or related financial services.
- Strong business development and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with high-net-worth clients.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products, services, and regulatory requirements within the private banking sector.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents.
