Vice President, Private Banking plays an important role within
BNY Wealth, supporting the delivery of tailored banking solutions for
family office and
ultra-high-net-worth clients. Working in close partnership with Private Bankers and key internal stakeholders, this role is responsible for helping drive the execution and ongoing management of
lending and deposit relationships, while contributing to a seamless, high-touch client experience.
Aligned with BNY's strategic pillars and principles, the Vice President brings a client-focused, collaborative, and solutions-oriented approach to relationship support and business execution. This individual will leverage private banking experience, sound judgment, and strong coordination skills to help advance client priorities, deepen relationships, and support the delivery of exceptional service.
Responsibilities- Partner with Private Bankers to support the execution and ongoing management of lending and deposit relationships for family office and ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Help deliver tailored banking solutions by coordinating client needs, internal processes, and relationship priorities with accuracy and responsiveness
- Support business development and relationship growth efforts by helping ensure a seamless experience across onboarding, servicing, and execution activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including credit, risk, operations, treasury, legal, and compliance, to facilitate comprehensive service delivery aligned with client needs and BNY's strategic goals
- Assist in the preparation, coordination, and tracking of materials related to lending and deposit opportunities, helping move client activity efficiently through internal processes
- Monitor relationship activity and maintain strong awareness of client priorities, outstanding items, and execution timelines to ensure continuity and high-quality support
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance execution, and elevate the private banking client experience
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining high standards of integrity, accountability, and risk awareness
- Represent BNY's values, strategic pillars, and principles in all interactions, fostering trust, professionalism, and strong internal and external partnerships
QualificationsEducation / Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required within the first 6 months of employment
Experience- Typically 5-8 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or financial services
- Experience supporting or executing lending and deposit solutions preferred
- Familiarity with the needs, complexity, and service expectations of family office and ultra-high-net-worth clients strongly preferred

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The expected base salary for this position when employment commences can be found in the Job Info section at the bottom of the posting.
Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee's eligible dependents. Eligible employees also may receive other benefits (including various paid time off benefits, such as vacation and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
