Position Purpose:
The Vice President, Pricing - Solutions (VP) will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies across SRS’ three industry verticals – building products, landscape supply, and pool & spa supply. They will collaborate closely with the CEO and Presidents of each vertical to develop and deploy pricing strategies, aiming to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining a competitive position in the market.
The VP, Pricing will oversee the gathering and analysis of data to evaluate pricing effectiveness and provide actionable insights. Using analytics tools, they will develop pricing models that optimize customer segmentation, product pricing, and discount structures. Their deep understanding of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior will allow them to proactively identify pricing opportunities and risks. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, will be crucial for implementing pricing initiatives and ensuring their successful execution.
As a strategic leader within SRS, the VP, Pricing will evaluate the impact of pricing decisions on customer satisfaction, adoption, and overall business performance. They will conduct regular pricing reviews to identify areas for improvement and maintain an ROI-focused approach. Staying up to date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to pricing and competitive intelligence will be essential.

Direct Manager Direct Reports:
The Vice President of Pricing at the SRS Heritage Group will report directly to the EVP & Chief Supply Chain Officer. The position includes oversight of a dedicated pricing team, with direct reports including directors, senior pricing managers and analytics specialists. This structure is established to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution of pricing initiatives across the organization. As a leader in this role, the Vice President is expected to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment, guiding and mentoring these direct reports to achieve targeted business outcomes.
Travel Requirements:
The Vice President, Pricing at SRS Heritage Group is expected to undertake periodic travel to engage with key stakeholders, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive strategic pricing initiatives that support business objectives.
Physical Requirements:
The Vice President, Pricing role at SRS Heritage Group primarily involves standard office-based work. This position requires the ability to frequently remain in a stationary position for extended periods, as well as occasional movement throughout the office to attend meetings or collaborate with team members. The role demands effective communication skills to convey ideas and instructions both verbally and in written form. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of progressive experience in pricing, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership position within a large, complex organization.
- Proven record of developing and executing effective pricing strategies within a competitive marketplace.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using pricing software and analytics tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and instigating change across all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading pricing initiatives, with a deep understanding of markets and cultural considerations in pricing strategies.
- Expertise in leveraging sophisticated data analytics and business intelligence tools to refine pricing models and improve decision-making processes.
- Strong network within the pricing and strategy community, demonstrating the ability to stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in pricing.
- Proficiency in advanced financial modeling and scenario analysis to anticipate market shifts and inform strategic pricing decisions.

- Demonstrated track record of successfully implementing pricing strategies that have resulted in significant revenue growth and improved profit margins.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Experience in collaborating with technology teams to implement pricing automation and digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations in pricing practices and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of compliance and integrity.
- Active participation in professional organizations related to pricing, economics, or industry-specific associations, indicating a commitment to ongoing professional development and thought leadership in the field.
Minimum Education:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
Preferred Education:
Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Minimum Years Of Work Experience:

Certifications:

- Certified Management Accountant (CMA): Issued by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), this certification indicates advanced financial management and strategic management skills, which are beneficial for pricing leadership roles.
