Job Description

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, POM Product Management to join our Wealth Services Platform team. This role is located in Jersey City, NJ.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for Wealth Data products and capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs.
  • Translate business problems, customer needs, and strategic objectives into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap for assigned data initiatives or pods.
  • Conduct or participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and execution reviews.
  • Provide timely clarification to development teams throughout the sprint lifecycle to support efficient delivery.
  • Review completed work against acceptance criteria and support release readiness activities.
  • Identify, triage, and prioritize defects and issues, balancing speed, quality, and business impact.
  • Support trade-off decisions that enable practical, timely delivery while aligning to broader architectural direction and strategic priorities.
  • Partner cross functionally between Product, Data, Engineering, Design and the business to align teams and ensure consistency in wealth data capabilities and client experience.
  • Support the design and evolution of data-centric products spanning areas such as client, account, reference, reporting, and related wealth data domains.
  • Help ensure that data governance, quality, privacy, and security considerations are embedded into product design and delivery.
  • Use data, metrics, and feedback to inform prioritization and continuous improvement.
  • Define appropriate success measures and support post-release evaluation of product outcomes.
  • Contribute to resilient, scalable, and operationally supportable data solutions.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product ownership, product management, business analysis, or related roles.
  • Experience working in an Agile delivery environment, including backlog management, sprint planning, and story refinement.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
  • Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience supporting data products, data platforms, or data-driven capabilities.
  • Background in financial services, wealth management, fintech, or a related domain.
  • Familiarity with data architecture, data flows, and integration concepts.
  • Exposure to cloud and data technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, SQL, or Python.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and controls in regulated environments.
  • Relevant Agile or Product Owner certifications (e.g., CSPO).
  • Client- and outcome-focused, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable operating across business and technical teams.
  • Skilled at simplifying complex topics and driving alignment.
  • Pragmatic in balancing strategic direction with timely execution.
