We're searching for a Vice President, Personal Lines - BC. Are you searching for new possibilities?

Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is looking for an accomplished insurance executive to lead one of the most strategically important areas of our business. This is a hybrid role based out of our Surrey head office.

As Vice President, Personal Lines - BC, you'll be responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and profitable growth of our Personal Lines business across British Columbia. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Distribution, you'll influence enterprise priorities, strengthen insurer partnerships, develop exceptional leaders, and drive business performance across the region.

This is more than an operational leadership role. You'll lead through complexity and change, champion operational excellence, support business transformation and acquisitions, and play a key role in advancing the future of Personal Lines at one of Canada's fastest-growing insurance brokerages.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $176,000 - $220,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual compensation will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, market conditions, and internal equity.

  • Lead the operational integration of acquired businesses, ensuring seamless transitions while maintaining employee engagement, client retention, and business continuity.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders across the organization to influence enterprise initiatives, solve complex business challenges, and help advance the future of Personal Lines at Westland.
  • Travel as required to support leadership effectiveness, partner relationships, and business priorities.
