Job description

In the role of VP, Operations you'll play a pivotal part on our Operations team. The individual in this position provides strategic leadership and guidance in the areas of Production, Repairs, Logistics, Inventory and Maintenance to Safran Cabin and its businesses. This individual will work closely with business unit leadership teams to drive excellence and ensure effective execution of business plans. This individual will develop strategies and implementation plans to improve all aspects of operations, implementing, managing and evaluating operational processes and procedures, in accordance with standards and procedures set out by Safran Cabin.

This position contributes to our vision by:
• Develop and recommend policies, processes and objectives in each area of Operations that support the Safran Cabin strategic plan.
• Review and approve significant staffing and facilities requirement forecasts for the entire Operations function. Identify solutions for optimizing quality and costs.
• Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) including on-time delivery (OTD), yield, and productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Support the adherence to quality systems within the Safran Cabin business units, partnering with the Quality function where appropriate.
• Champion continuous improvement activities through establishing objectives and providing consultation and support to the business units.
• Define customer OTD metrics and work with the business units to meet and exceed these KPIs.
• Seek opportunities for efficiency and cost improvements in all areas of operations within the business. • Ensure compliance and provide support to the business in the use of key Safran processes such as PROMPT and One Safran.
• Identify new opportunities to impact business and operations goals positively, and implement them.
• Proactively reports to senior leadership on successes, potential issues and action plans.
• Maintain positive and proactive relationships and communication with BU leadership teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

Cabin TA:

• Management roles may be eligible for a 30% Cabin Management Target Bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.

The expected salary range for this position is between $164,200-$258,030 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or financial degree strongly preferred
Experience: 10+ years of experience in a Senior Management role in a technical manufacturing organization with progressive leadership experience.
Computer Skills:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as M3 or SAP
Leadership and Other Skills:
