Ace Electric, Inc. | Reports to the Chief Financial Officer
The Opportunity
You will set Ace's enterprise technology direction while leading the team that delivers it. Success means secure and dependable systems, responsive support, useful data, and technology that makes work easier for the people planning and building our projects.
You will:
- Develop a technology roadmap aligned with Ace's growth, operating priorities, and risk profile.
- Lead IT and MIS, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, data, and user support.
- Strengthen the systems that connect project operations, finance, HR, payroll, workforce planning, and field teams.
- Make technology deployment and support more consistent as new jobsites open and divisions grow.
- Lead cybersecurity, access controls, incident response, backup, and business continuity planning.
- Evaluate automation and emerging tools for their practical value to the business.
- Build and develop a strong team, manage technology investments and vendors, and measure results through clear service and performance standards.
What You Bring
You are an executive who can move comfortably between strategy and execution. You understand the technical risks, ask good business questions, and can explain complex decisions in plain language. You build trust with field leaders and corporate teams alike.
We're looking for:
- 10 or more years of progressive technology leadership experience, including senior responsibility for enterprise systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
- A bachelor's degree in technology, computer science, business, engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Experience setting technology strategy, leading teams, managing budgets and vendors, and delivering major system initiatives.
- Strong judgment in cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- The ability to turn business needs into scalable solutions that people will use.
Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial services, or another multi-location, project-based business is strongly preferred. Familiarity with construction ERP, project management systems, HRIS, payroll, and field technology is a plus.
This role involves travel to Ace offices and project sites, along with availability for critical technology or security matters. If you want to lead technology where its impact is visible in both the office and the field, we'd like to meet you.
