Salary: $200,000 - $275,000
*Compensation for this position includes annual salary, 50% short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.
What You'll DoAs Vice President of Strategic Marketing, you'll develop and execute Viking Electric's enterprise marketing, digital sales, and commercial enablement strategy to drive profitable growth, strengthen customer engagement, and enhance market competitiveness. As a member of the Viking Electric Leadership Team, you'll lead Marketing, Digital Sales, Market Growth Engine, and Sales Operations while partnering across Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to create a seamless customer experience.
You will...• Develop and execute a solutions-based marketing strategy spanning brand positioning, customer engagement, customer acquisition, demand generation, market awareness, and measurement of marketing effectiveness.
• Lead Digital Sales strategy and performance, including eCommerce, digital customer engagement, online growth initiatives, customer adoption, and omnichannel customer experience capabilities.
• Provide leadership for Sales Support and commercial enablement, ensuring sales teams have the tools, resources, insights, training support, and processes needed to improve customer growth and productivity.
• Partner with Sales to optimize Viking Electric's enterprise customer experience strategy using voice-of-customer insights, customer journey analysis, digital capabilities, and cross-functional process improvement.
• Establish customer segmentation, market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer insight processes to identify growth opportunities and influence business strategy.
• Build and develop a high-performing Strategic Marketing organization and contribute to enterprise strategy, transformation, annual planning, talent development, and collaboration with Sonepar Marketing and Digital teams.
• Perform assigned duties professionally and ethically while following Viking Electric policies, guidelines, and procedures, including Safety, Anti-Harassment, and Ethics.
What You BringRequirements:• Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, digital commerce, sales enablement, customer experience, commercial leadership, or related business functions.
• Proven success developing and executing growth strategies in complex business environments.
• Experience leading digital transformation, customer engagement, organizational change, and process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong strategic planning, commercial acumen, financial acumen, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Expertise in marketing strategy, digital commerce, customer experience, and commercial enablement.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, influencing, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to translate market intelligence and customer insights into business strategy and customer-focused solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sales, or a related field.
Preferred qualifications:• Experience in distribution, wholesale, industrial, manufacturing, or the electrical industry.
Additional requirements:• Ability to travel to Viking Electric, customer, supplier, Sonepar, and industry locations as needed, up to 25% of the time.
• Willingness to work additional hours and support business initiatives outside standard business hours when required.
• Ability to work primarily in a professional office environment, collaborate across multiple geographies, and occasionally visit warehouse and operational environments.
