Job Summary:

The Vice President of Service is a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and overall performance of the Service Division. This role oversees sales growth, customer satisfaction, staffing, budgeting, and process optimization while fostering a culture of innovation and accountability. The VP of Service collaborates closely with executive leadership, HR, finance, and operations to align division performance with organizational goals and long-term profitability.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide executive leadership for the Service Division, establishing strategic direction, operational priorities, and long-term growth initiatives that support the organization's overall business objectives.
  • Drive the achievement of corporate revenue, profitability, customer retention, and operational performance goals as outlined in the company's strategic plan.
  • Develop and execute the long-term service growth strategy, including expansion of recurring maintenance programs, market penetration, customer experience initiatives, and operational scalability across all regions.
  • Partner with the executive leadership team to establish enterprise objectives, evaluate business performance, and implement strategies that improve profitability, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead the Service Division's financial performance by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, pricing strategies, and resource allocation to maximize profitability and return on investment.
  • Analyze key financial, operational, and sales performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, making data driven decisions that improve business results. Partner closely with the CFO to review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, standardize best practices, leverage technology, and strengthen service delivery across the organization.
  • Build and develop a high performing leadership team by establishing succession plans, strengthening leadership capabilities, and creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Partner with Human Resources to develop workforce strategies that support organizational growth, leadership development, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Establish performance expectations and accountability measures for senior service leaders while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Foster collaboration across Sales, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Safety, and other functional areas to ensure consistent execution of company initiatives and exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives by communicating vision, driving alignment, and ensuring successful adoption of strategic business initiatives throughout the Service Division.
  • Evaluate organizational structure, talent, and resource allocation to ensure the Service Division is positioned to meet current and future business demands.
  • Represent the Service Division as a member of the executive leadership team, providing strategic recommendations and contributing to enterprise level planning, investment decisions, and organizational growth.
  • Promote a culture centered on safety, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, innovation, and ethical leadership while reinforcing the company's mission, vision, and core values.


Qualifications and Education:
  • MBA preferred or a Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Energy Services.
  • Demonstrated success in field sales, marketing, and value-based selling in building services.
  • Superior verbal and written skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.
  • Skilled in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex projects.
  • Strong analysis and judgment skills.
  • Ability to influence, build consensus, and navigate diverse stakeholder needs.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License required.
