Overview

Brandt is currently seeking a Vice President of Operations - Central for our Mississauga Brandt Peterbilt location.

As a member of the Senior Management team, the VP of Operations will participate in the development and execution of the organization's priorities and objectives and will be directly responsible for attracting, developing, and retaining employees, the financial health, market share, and overall performance within their division.

Brandt Truck & Trailers specializes in transportation equipment for the oil & gas, mining, pipeline, construction/infrastructure and environmental industries. We maintain the industry's largest in-stock selection of new and used heavy -spec tucks trailers and specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of senior management experience within a similar industry. Experience in heavy haul trailers is an asset.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Provision for overall management, business leadership, development, and supervision for the branches within the assigned area of responsibility
  • The creation, execution, and achievement of annual budgets for the branches within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Present to all stakeholders, including senior management, as required
  • Achieve sales growth and profitability for all areas within the division
  • Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets, including but not limited to new and used wholegoods inventory while providing for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals
  • Management and development of all employees within the Division with the goal of building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long term success for the company, customers and employees
  • Establish targets for Managers and evaluate their performance through the use of KPI's as provided by the Company.
  • Achieve market share goals as agreed for the long-term success of our manufacturer and the company
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum 10 years in the Truck and Coach industry accompanied with a minimum of 5 years in management and/or business operations experience
  • Degree or diploma with business focus an asset but not mandatory.
  • Previous sales and product support experience
