What you'll do

  • Own the finance technology ecosystem across Atoms, with Workday as the core ERP and connected systems supporting billing, payments, treasury, payroll, and operational data.
  • Design scalable finance architecture that moves financial data cleanly from source systems into accounting entries, reporting, controls, and business decision-making.
  • Automate manual finance and accounting workflows across transaction processing, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting support, and close-related activities.
  • Partner with Accounting, Strategic Finance, Operations, Engineering, and the CFO to identify system gaps, improve integrations, and build a roadmap for long-term scale.
  • Build the Finance Technology function over time, including team structure, vendor strategy, operating cadence, documentation, controls, and system roadmap.

What we're looking for
  • Deep understanding of how operational transactions become accounting entries, financial statements, and management reporting.
  • Experience leading finance systems architecture across ERP, billing, payments, treasury, payroll, procurement, FP&A, and data platforms.
  • Strong ERP experience, ideally with Workday Financials or similar platforms such as Oracle, NetSuite, or SAP.
  • Proven track record driving automation, integration, controls, reconciliations, subledger design, and transaction-to-GL process improvements.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a builder mentality, high ownership, strong stakeholder influence, and the ability to drive change without heavy PMO infrastructure.
