Vice President of Facilities & Infrastructure - Position Summary

Schedule: Full Time, schedule may include evenings, weekends, and emergency response situations as needed

Pay: $90,000 - $120,000 annually

Location: Chenango County, NY

What You'll Do: As Vice President of Facilities & Infrastructure, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for ACHIEVE's facilities, infrastructure, capital assets, and real property portfolio. You will ensure that organizational facilities remain safe, compliant, efficient, and aligned with current and future service needs while leading major projects, operational improvements, and long-term asset planning.
  • Provide executive leadership and oversight for facilities operations, maintenance programs, and infrastructure reliability across all agency locations.
  • Develop and implement short-term and long-range facilities and capital improvement plans that support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Lead construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure improvement projects from planning through completion.
  • Oversee the management of organizational real estate assets, building systems, equipment, and capital resources.
  • Establish and maintain preventative maintenance programs that maximize asset life and operational efficiency.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage departmental operating and capital budgets while ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements related to facilities and infrastructure operations.
  • Maintain organizational readiness for inspections, audits, surveys, and accreditation reviews.
  • Lead risk management initiatives related to facilities operations, environmental safety, emergency preparedness, and business continuity.
  • Promote safe, secure, and well-maintained environments for individuals served, employees, visitors, and community partners.
  • Establish systems and processes that strengthen accountability, operational performance, and project execution.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align facilities and infrastructure strategies with organizational priorities and service delivery needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, consultants, and external partners to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely project completion.
  • Prepare and present reports regarding facilities operations, capital projects, compliance activities, and infrastructure performance.
  • Participate in strategic planning initiatives and provide recommendations regarding future facility and infrastructure investments.
  • Support organizational emergency response efforts and serve as a key resource during facility-related incidents or operational disruptions.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in facilities, infrastructure, construction, engineering, asset management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of senior management or executive leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing capital projects, budgets, and multi-site operations.
  • OR a combination of education and experience that, in the opinion of the reviewing agency, exceeds the above standards.
  • Valid driver's license acceptable to the agency's insurance carrier.
