Vice President, North America – Operations, Facilities Management
Remote | Approximately 50% Travel
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-impact Vice President, North America – Operations, Facilities Management to lead a rapidly growing K-12 Facilities Management business across a complex, multi-state portfolio.
This executive will provide strategic and operational leadership for approximately 30 client accounts and $130–$140 million in managed volume, while leading a geographically dispersed organization with 10 direct reports. The VP will be responsible for operational excellence, financial performance, client retention, growth, talent development, and successful execution of strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic vision and executive leadership across a multi-site, multi-state Facilities Management operation.
- Drive operational excellence, safety, financial performance, client satisfaction, and sustainable growth.
- Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing leadership team while strengthening succession planning and talent pipelines.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients and senior stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives supporting account retention, new business growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Use operational metrics, dashboards, financial data, and workforce analytics to identify opportunities and improve performance.
- Establish clear accountability and performance expectations across geographically dispersed teams.
- Partner with regional and organizational leaders to align operations with broader business objectives.
- Lead organizational transformation and change while maintaining strong employee engagement and service delivery.
- Serve as an executive-level advisor to clients, translating operational challenges into innovative, value-driven solutions.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven executive or comparable leadership experience managing complex, multi-location Facilities Management operations.
- Experience leading large, cross-functional teams across a regional or national footprint.
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated success in operational performance, financial management, growth, and client retention.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively from senior executives and clients to frontline employees.
- Demonstrated success developing leaders, building high-performing teams, and establishing a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to turn data and insights into measurable business results.
- Strong client relationship and consultative leadership capabilities.
Facilities Management contractor experience is not required. Candidates must, however, demonstrate substantial VP-level or comparable experience overseeing complex, geographically dispersed operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of management experience.
- 10+ years of related professional experience.
- Significant experience leading multi-site, multi-state operations.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic leadership, talent development, succession planning, and organizational transformation.
