Full Job Description
PTC is seeking an accomplished Vice President, Global CAD Strategy & Sales to lead the company's worldwide CAD business, advancing adoption of PTC's industry-leading Computer-Aided Design (CAD) solutions and continuing a track record of accelerated, double-digit growth.

The ideal candidate will serve as a global leader, responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive CAD strategy across regions, building and leading a high-performing global organization, and partnering across the enterprise to drive significant growth in ACV, market share, and customer success.

This leader will play a critical role in shaping PTC's digital engineering vision, ensuring alignment between sales, product, and customer outcomes while positioning CAD as a strategic foundation for enterprise transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute a global CAD strategy aligned with corporate objectives, driving sustained double-digit revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build, lead, and scale a world-class global CAD organization, including regional leaders and specialist teams; recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Partner closely with field sales, product management, marketing, customer success, and partner ecosystems to execute integrated go-to-market strategies.
  • Drive global ACV growth, pipeline creation, and bookings performance, owning key KPIs including ACV, growth by segment, retention, and expansion.
  • Establish and lead a rigorous operating cadence including forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance management across regions.
  • Analyze global market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging design technologies to refine strategy and maintain market leadership.
  • Cultivate executive-level relationships with strategic customers, driving large enterprise deals, long-term value, and cross-sell/upsell opportunities.
  • Ensure global standardization and optimization of CAD sales motions, territories, and coverage models for maximum efficiency and scale.
  • Champion sales excellence and capability development, including advanced consultative selling, value-based engagement, and technical fluency.
  • Drive alignment of CAD strategy with digital engineering, PLM, and broader product development ecosystems.
  • Manage and optimize global sales investments and budgets to maximize ROI and strategic impact.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $375,000 - $506,000 The anticipated annual salary range encompasses both the base salary and the on-target sales incentive plan compensation (SIP) that may be attained in this role. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting.

Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP) which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for partficipation in our equity programs.
