About the job Principal Architect
We are seeking an experienced and strategic
Principal Architect to lead architectural design, technical vision, and high-level decision-making across complex projects. This role is responsible for establishing architectural standards, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient system or structural designs.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to align architecture with long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Define and lead overall architecture strategy and technical vision
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance systems or structures
- Establish architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and engineering teams
- Review and approve designs, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders, executives, and project teams
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and industry standards
- Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies for architectural decisions
- Oversee system integration and long-term scalability planning
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in architecture, design, or engineering roles
- Proven experience leading large-scale or enterprise-level projects
- Strong expertise in system design, frameworks, and infrastructure (or building design for construction roles)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or large-scale infrastructure (for IT roles)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
